The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
